Hi, I'm Betsy Carson. My interest in real estate began when I knew that
my life was going to mean moving across town, across country or across
the ocean every two or three years. Twenty-one residences later, two of
which my husband and I designed and built, and I still have a passion
for real estate. A licensed Realtor since 1985, I have the ability to
look at a home and see its full potential.
Marrying a Navy pilot landed me in close contact with the real estate business from the get-go. I became a Realtor because I wanted to be the kind of agent who I always wished for but rarely had: someone who cared enough to be prepared for me, knowing that I only had a few days to find a home. I treat people the way I would want to be treated. If you do real estate by the Golden Rule, you can't miss.
My mantra is: Responsive. Realistic. Results. I try to make the process of selling as painless as possible for my clients. I believe everyone deserves the best from the very beginning. Your house will be staged right, and all marketing will be first class and well thought out. I don't hold back on the marketing. Moving doesn't phase me. I remind my clients to simplify and to take things one day at a time.
I listen to buyers and find out what they really want. I keep looking for the perfect house for them, and keep them updated daily on market conditions. My business stretches all over busy and buzzing Northern Virginia, from Mr. Vernon to Ashburn and all points in between. I absolutely love Clifton, where my husband and I once built a home. Through the years I've also been a resident of Vienna twice, and have called McLean home for the past 10 years.
